This private, guided experience is custom-tailored to your group’s goals and riding style, led by ACMG and IFMGA certified guides who know these mountains inside and out. Over two consecutive days, you’ll experience the deep powder and diverse terrain of both the Revelstoke Backcountry and Rogers Pass in Glacier National Park.
Day 1: Guided backcountry ski touring in the Revelstoke area, using the lift system at Revelstoke Mountain Resort to access pristine touring zones. RMR lift passes available $$.
Day 2: A fully human-powered backcountry tour through the iconic terrain of Rogers Pass.
Day 3: A third human-powered backcountry tour: Rogers Pass, RMR, Selkirks or Monashee's
Private guiding from certified ACMG or IFMGA Mountain Guides.
Backcountry safety training, terrain orientation, and transceiver review.
Day 1 – Revelstoke Backcountry (Lift-Assisted)
8:00 AM: Meet your guide at the Revelation Gondola Plaza (RMR) with boots on, ready to go.
8:00 – 8:30 AM: Trip overview, waiver signing, gear check, safety gear distribution.
8:30 AM – 3:30 PM: Ride the gondola, complete a backcountry safety and rescue refresher, then spend the day exploring custom-selected terrain based on your group’s ability and current snow conditions.
Day 2 – Rogers Pass (Human-Powered Touring)
Meet Time & Location: Typically 7:30 – 8:00 AM at the Rogers Pass Discovery Centre (confirmed in advance by your guide).
Full-day tour focused on classic Rogers Pass objectives, terrain management, and maximizing your day in Canada's most revered backcountry zone.
Day 3 – Rogers Pass,RMR or Monashee's (Human-Powered Touring)
Meet Time & Location: Typically 7:30 – 8:00 AM at the Rogers Pass Discovery Centre (confirmed in advance by your guide).
Full-day tour focused on where the best conditions are, terrain management, and maximizing your day in one of the best ski zones in the world.
This trip is designed for strong advanced skiers and expert snowboarders in above-average physical condition, ready to climb up to 3.5 hours throughout the day. Previous touring experience is recommended.
