The lodge gets a lot of the attention but the terrain around Sentry is truly what makes it special. Great treesking right below the hut, short walks to epic pillow zones made famous in numerous ski movies. Or head out the back of the hut into Secret Valley for endless alpine runs on varying aspects. There are lots of great natural circuits that check all the boxes for what a backcountry ski trip should be.

We did a 2 day tour in Roger’s Pass and had a fantastic time. The guiding was excellent, and the communication leading up to the trip was great. We’ve already booked their hut and will be back!

Two-Day Classic

The most unique backcountry touring hut in BC. Small groups, shorter trips and the best backcountry sauna ever. Classic Selkirk terrain. Isaac and his crew are the best.

Hemlock Hut Trip

Great trip to Hemlock Hut. The new sauna and sleeping quarters are top-notch! Fantastic terrain, all a short walk from the hut. Our guide, Aaron Chance, made it an unreal overall experience!

Our group of 16 (8 adults and 8 kids) had an amazing trip!  Many thanks to Isaac, Mike, Jair, and Asher for the best experience!  Not only were they amazing guides, but more importantly, great people!  Every detail was carefully thought out and planned.  Food and meals were amazing.  Especially loved the pre-dinner cocktails! I would highly recommend this team to anyone looking for a great adventure!

Booking, Waiver & Payments

This large, three-story timber-framed backcountry lodge is a fully off-grid retreat. Heated by 2 &nbsp;wood stoves and equipped with a propane stove for cooking, the lodge also features micro-hydro power for lighting and device charging. A separate boot room with a large propane heater ensures your gear stays warm and dry. Ideal for groups comfortable with all the amenities in remote, off-the-grid living, the lodge includes six private large guest rooms and two staff rooms—all double occupancy, with configurations of a queen bed and a large twin bunk. Each room comes with cozy down duvets, pillows, and all linens provided. Guests enjoy gourmet meals prepared daily by our in-house chef. After a day in the mountains, unwind in the dedicated sauna building, complete with a hot shower. Modern comforts are maintained with Starlink internet and a backup generator. Crystal-clear water is gravity fed from a nearby spring and alpine lake—some of the purest on the planet. Two outhouses are available, along with an indoor pee toilets for convenience.

Lodge Life

Situated at 2065m elevation, the lodge location works perfectly for all conditions and offer runs from 250m to 850m. High alpine, endless tree skiing and some of the most epic pillows found on the planet. &nbsp; Our small team is intimately familiar with the zone and can confidently deliver conservative and enjoyable ski programs to suit any weather and avalanche conditions. Terrain ranges from moderate open slopes on "Rampart" to steep chutes and treed paths in the "Sobbing Sally" and grand pillow lines out the "Shield". &nbsp;Most groups average about 1200m of elevation gain per day over several ascents and descents with opportunities to do more vertical or more interesting ski lines as conditions and group ability permit. As a guide team, we pride ourselves on leading smooth, risk appropriate tours featuring excellent snow.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Terrain & Ski Program

Day 1 @ 0900 MST - Meet at the GAH staging area 45 min west of Golden or 70 min east of Revelstoke. &nbsp; Day 1 -4 &nbsp;Full ski days from Sentry Lodge (9am - 4pm) Day 5 @ 1000 MST - Flights begin to staging finishing at noon
